In a neighborhood where the median home is priced above $1 million, a multi-family housing project ensures long term affordability and healthy living.

Nest is a five-story, 30-unit multifamily housing project located in the vibrant Phinney Ridge neighborhood of Seattle. Out of the 30 units - all a mix of one, two, and three bedroom layouts - 19 will be designated as affordable, to address the critical need for affordable housing in the area.

Homestead Community Land Trust, the developer of Nest, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting affordable housing and sustainable communities in the Seattle area. Founded with the mission to create and preserve homeownership opportunities for low- and moderate-income families, Homestead focuses on community land trusts as a powerful tool for addressing housing affordability. By acquiring and holding land in trust, Homestead separates the cost of land from the cost of housing, allowing families to purchase homes at reduced prices while ensuring long term affordability.
